scrappage scheme was great for new car industry, but it has killed used car sales and decimated the garage repair industry.rich car companies get richer and poor mechanics get the dole or 3 day week.

UIt is called supply and demand. The US is in the "driving Season". Watch petrol fall and Deisel go up in the autumn as the stop driving and fill up their heating oil tanks!
