Monteith joins a band
Glee star Cory Monteith is setting out to prove his real-life musical skills as a drummer in a new band.The 28-year-old actor has announced he is part of a rock group called Bonnie Dune and he will be taking a backseat as the group's percussionist.The band has posted several songs on an official Facebook.com page, while Monteith has revealed he will be taking to the stage for their first gig in Los Angeles in the New Year (11).In a post on his Twitter.com page, Monteith writes, "My band! Facebook.com/bonniedune... and our first show! Roxy. LA... It's like xmas; post-xmas! x-tra-mas!"The group's first show at the Roxy Theatre in L.A. will take place on 9 January (11).
