The British face of the Eurovision Song Contest claims the U.K. is losing 2008 entrant was the victim of racism.
Veteran broadcaster Terry Wogan, who presents Britain's coverage of the annual event, claims Andy Abraham came last at the May (08) event because the judges of many Eastern European nations wouldn't vote for a black man.
Wogan says, "East of the Danube, they won't be voting for any black singer any day soon."
The BBC veteran also claims fans of the show are growing tired of 'political voting', alleging many European countries reserve high scores for other nations they enjoy close ties with.
He adds, "(Fans) will have had it up to here with the blatant political voting from the former satellites of the USSR". (IG/WNWC/LJ)
