LONDON (Reuters) - "Little Britain" star Matt Lucas is to split on Wednesday from his partner whom he "married" in a civil ceremony in 2006, media reports said.
The comedy actor and his partner, TV producer Kevin McGee, are listed at London's High Court for pronouncements of decrees under the special procedure list which allows for the end of civil partnerships.
Lucas and McGee met at a nightclub and exchanged vows at a ceremony in December 2006 followed by a lavish pantomime-themed reception.
Media reports said they would be the first celebrity gay couple to separate following a civil partnership and could provide a test case for future such "divorces."
There was no immediate comment from Lucas' agent.
The government introduced civil partnerships for same-sex couples in 2005.
