Fellow actors, friends and family gathered in St Margaret's Church in the grounds of Westminster Abbey to take part in a Service of Thanksgiving for actor Paul Scofield who died one year ago after a long battle with leukaemia at the age of 86 on March 19, 2008. During the height of his career on both the stage and screen, he received an Oscar and a BAFTA award for his performance as Sir Thomas More in the 1966 film 'A man for all seasons'.
