Spiteri lands movie role
Texas star Sharleen Spiteri is preparing to make her big screen debut - opposite The Wire's Dominic West.The Scottish singer is set to start filming her role as a mum to a troubled teen in I Feel Fine in September (10) - and she's excited about the challenge.She tells Britain's Sunday Mail, "The film is the story of a young, good-looking Glasgow guy who gets into a bit of trouble with drugs and becomes an addict. It tells of his efforts to fight his way out of that mess and the near-misses he has."The script is amazing. I'm going to be working with with really good people so I don't feel under any pressure."
