Will Smith no longer has to play the disciplinarian to his son Jaden – the young actor is applying lessons learned from his upcoming movie Karate Kid to his life at home.

The 11 year old began filming the movie remake this summer (09), in which he stars in the lead role opposite Jackie Chan as his martial arts mentor.And Jaden’s intense training for the film has already taught him to be more respectful and well behaved at away from the set.Chan tells People magazine, “His dad told me that Jaden had changed. When he takes his shoes off, he doesn’t throw them in the corner, but puts them away neatly!”
