Brian was excitable and hyperactive during his time in the house in 2001 and won the second series with 69 per cent of the public vote.

Before entering the house, Brian worked as a cabin crew supervisor for Ryanair and only told his parents that he was gay two weeks before the show started.

In the house, he won over housemates and viewers with his b****y personality and funny behaviour, entering a prank war with housemate Bubble and becoming close friends with Narinder Kaur.

Brian didn’t like fellow gay housemate Josh, who entered the house part of the way through the series, and was furious when Big Brother set them up on a romantic date.

After winning the show, Brian went on to become a television presenter, working for SM:TV and a string of other shows and continuing his reality TV career by competing in Hell’s Kitchen.

He was most recently been a contestant on TV3’s Celebrity Salon, as well as filming a Big Brother special episode of Come Dine With Me.

Brian does regular voice over work and in May 2010 he hosted Miss Universe GB in Birmingham. He is currently single but has recently been on a few dates with a new guy. His friendship with Narinder is still going strong, and he is godfather to her youngest son.
