D'onofrio becomes a father on valentine's day

LAW + ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT star VINCENT D'ONOFRIO received a Valentine's Day bundle of joy last week (ends15Feb08) - his wife gave birth to a baby boy.

The actor and his wife Carin Van Der Donk welcomed their second son last Thursday (14Feb08), with the newborn weighing in at seven pounds and 15 ounces (3.24 kilograms).

The news was confirmed by Law + Order series spokeswoman Pam Golum, who said mother and baby "are doing great".

The baby's name has yet to be revealed.

The couple already has an eight-year-old boy, Elias, together, while D'Onofrio also has a 15-year-old daughter, Leila, with his first wife, actress Greta Scacchi. (MT/WNWA/TN)
