CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 20: (FILE PHOTO) The Cannes film festival will celebrate 65 years of the world's finest film stars taking to the Croisette and vying for the Palme d'Or. The twelve day event will be lead by the 2012 Cannes jury president Nanni Moretti and hosted by Berenice Bejo from May 16 to May 27 in Cannes, France. The 50th anniversary of the death of Marilyn Monroe will be a theme throughout the festival while Wes Anderson's film 'Moonrise Kingdom' will open the event.
