Tori Spelling - Biography

In a nutshell

It feels like Tori Spelling has been around forever, does it not?

The daughter of fantastic TV producer Aaron Spelling, Tori attended Beverly Hills High School (doesn't that already sound fabulous?) and starred in shows like Saved by the Bell, TJ Hooker and The Love Boat.

Her 'big' break came when she was cast in a new show called Beverly Hills 90210. Luckily for her it was produced by a man called Aaron Spelling, who just happened to be her dad. Very fortunate! Her character was Donna Martin and Tori featured in the show for its entirety ? 1990 through to 2000.

So what we're mainly trying to identify is what Tori got up to after 90210 ended. We're still a little unsure but we do know she starred in some 'reality' TV including VH1's So NoTORIous in which she was clever and 'switched on' enough to parody herself. In 2007 Tori bought a B&B with her husband Dean and kindly invited cameras along to capture every joyous moment which ended up becoming another reality show with another pun in its title. We quite frankly don't want to repeat it.

When new kids come along and steal your thunder, you wouldn't want to be left out in the cold, right? Which is why Tori managed to grab a guest starring role in two episodes of the 90210 remake. In case you're particular and want to know which episodes, they're 18 and 19. Enjoy...

Tori has been married twice. She divorced her first husband, Charlie Shanian, in 2005 and, within a month of their divorce coming through, got hitched again ? this time to Dean McDermott. Yeah, that's right, the one she ran a B&B with in that brilliant reality show.

Did you know?

A couple of Tori's books have been published. Would you like to know what they're called? One is called 'Mommywood', because Mommy sort-of-rhymes with 'Holly' and therefore the reader understands this is probably something to do with being a mother in the glamorous (or perhaps very difficult) world of Hollywood.
