Samanda - Biography

In a nutshell

God knows where the name came from but the manic 'BB Twins', Samanda, (if you don't know the lingo by now, BB is an ABREVIATION FOR BIG BROTHER, that show on Channel 4 which eats up summer) are trying and trying to forge some kind of career from their time in the reality house.

Initially entering BB in 2007, the twins decided to be referred to as one housemate (meaning they'd nominate together, for example) on Day 69. That may be where the ridiculous name came from. Yes, cunningly, somebody merged their names into one. Could it have been dimwit Brian, the eventual winner? We'd rather not review the hundreds of hours of tape to check so you'll have to just settle with not knowing, if that's alright.

Despite having been social-care students at Manchester Metropolitan University before entering the house, the twins are now spending the majority of their time recording charity singles with the Honey Monster (!!), giggling excessively, being the face(s) of Hello Kitty online (!!), giggling even more excessively and have produced a dance workout DVD. Phew, these girls are b-u-s-y!

One. They are telepathic.

Two. They have never been abroad.

Three. Sam is 5 minutes older than Amanda.

Did you know?

The girls have recorded three singles. They are called, in no particular order, 'Whistle for a Hottie', 'Honey Love' and, yes, 'Barbie Girl'. Can all sigh collectively now?
