Patsy Kensit - Biography

In a nutshell

We've always loved a hard-working celeb and they don't often come more hard-working than Patsy Kensit. After all, the bills aren't going to pay themselves especially when there's a credit crunch!

Born Patricia Jude Francis Kensit (oooh, posh!) in 1968 Patsy (as she's more famously known) has been acting her socks off for absolutely ages. And it doesn't matter that sometimes you end up playing a nurse in Holby City because you've had a good career, and that's the main thing!

Starting out on screen in an advert for frozen peas (if it's good enough for Kerry Katona...) Patsy was also a bit of a part star, albeit on the side. She was a member of a band called Eighth Wonder, who we haven't got the faintest memory of but that's probably just as well.

Of course it isn't all frozen vegetables and pretty dresses when it comes to Patsy. She's been through the mill when it comes to her love life, with the tabloids there to document every single bit of it.

She's been married three times so far, all of whom have been musicians. Although it might have been a bit more entertaining if they'd been magicians, but you can't win them all... In 1988 she married Dan Donovan from the band Big Audio Dynamite which ended in divorce. In 1992 she went on to marry Jim Kerr of The Corrs. No, hang on, that's Jim Corr. Now we're getting confused. Best move onto marriage number three, to the one and only Liam Gallagher. The pair have a son named Lennon (no explanation needed there, then) but ended up getting divorced in 2000. Happy New Millennium!

Despite the knock-backs Patsy has been a firm favourite with TV audiences, especially since she first appeared in the fields of Emmerdale to play 'super-bitch' Sadie King. After a good stint giving glares to camera and eventually being left penniless, Sadie went her merry way but Patsy can now be seen as nurse Faye Morton in BBC One's Holby City. We don't watch it, but I bet she's good.
