In a nutshell
We love Mark, and we're not afraid to say it. Although he's been around for a while, working hard between New York and London, he seemingly appeared from nowhere with the release of his single, 'Stop Me'.
Despite his American accent, Mark was born in London to wealthy Jewish parents alongside his two sisters Charlotte and Samantha.
Mark attended New York University and started DJ'ing for $50 a night. Although there are plenty of DJs around, Mark began to get known for his wide and eclectic choices of music. We bet he didn't play any Jive Bunny, though.
As all good people are, Mark was 'spotted' and produced some music for a denim advert in America and signed a record contract. His first album, which didn't really do very well to begin with, was called 'Here Comes the Fuzz' and received good reviews from critics. He later moved on to produce songs for Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera and the Kaiser Chiefs.
Being a good looking lad means Mark has been in and out of the press with constant speculation about his girlfriends. Most recently (although now rumoured to be separated) Mark has been pictured with Daisy Lowe, an Agent Provocateur model.
Mark has guest presented 'The Sunday Night Project' on Channel 4 alongside Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins.
