Lily Allen - Biography

In a nutshell

When Lily first burst onto the 'scene' a couple of years ago we actually quite liked the girl. But as time has gone by she's started to become more and more unlikeable ? but that's just our opinion, anyway. Maybe she's nicer than we think! Lily, give us a call and lets have a pint.

Daughter of Keith Allen, Lily has a an older sister and a younger brother (Alfie) and sister. She was brought up by her mother after the separation of her parents when she was 4. Astonishingly she attended over 10 different schools before deciding it wasn't for her and leaving aged 15.

Lily attracted huge interest when she uploaded four of her songs to MySpace - you know, that site you used to use before Facebook came along ? and eventually chose to work with Mark Ronson on her debut album. She has a massive amount of 'friends' on MySpace and probably not that many in real life.

Lily came in for a lot of stick when she launched her own TV show on BBC Three, Lily Allen and Friends which was heavily advertised but not highly watched. It might have something to do with her amount of 'friends'...

She's definitely not out to make any friends, judging by some of her comments about other pop stars. She's had a go at Girls Aloud, Kylie, The Kooks and Paris Hilton amongst others, and this is contributed to the negative press she sometimes receives.

Lily dated some guy from The Chemical Brothers and announced her pregnancy. However she suffered a miscarriage and lost the baby.

Her latest album is very good and has sold a lot of copies, surely giving Lily something to smile about. Well, you'd hope...

Lily is currently dating property developer Sam Cooper and the couple are expecting their first child in early 2011.

Lily has a show on BBC Three, hurray for her. This might be news to her but the same channel rated her number 10 in their list of 'Most Annoying People 2006'.
