Justin Timberlake - Biography

In a nutshell

Justin has had a pretty meteoric rise to worldwide fame. He's adored by girls, admired by guys, your Gran probably approves, your gay brother probably really fancies him, your little sister giggles when you mention his name.... you get the picture.

Starting out as a 'cast member' of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993, Justin starred alongside his future N'Sync bandmate JC Chasez, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. I bet Mickey didn't know he had such a good line-up!

He and JC were recruited to start in a new band which eventually morphed into N'Sync. Although not hugely popular in the UK, the band sold millions of records around the world and made Justin more of a household name. If you check a few of the older videos you'll see a rather pale looking Justin 'busting' some moves with a pretty awful head of hair...

If you're going to be a solo artist you usually need a little bit of publicity to get you started. And boy did Justin manage that. Performing with Janet Jackson at the 2004 Superbowl was pretty impressive in itself, but Janet had her infamous wardrobe 'malfunction' when Justin ripped off a piece of her dress, briefly exposing her breast. This caused nothing short of a storm, although Justin managed to escape any sort of criticism.

Justin teamed up with another famous female, Madonna, to provide vocals on the collaboration 4 Minutes.

Mr Timberlake is definitely a hit with the ladies, but we knew that already. His most famous relationship is up there with Charleen and Jason from Neighbours... but the Justin and Britney fairytale ended when the pair broke up in 2002, spurring Justin to write one of his biggest hits Cry Me A River.

He's now reported to be in a relationship with Jessica Biel of Fantastic 4 mini-fame. Although the pair have never spoken to the press about it, it's rumoured that an engagement is on the cards. Lucky her!
