Jodie Marsh - Biography

In a nutshell

If we decided to create our own, totally random awards ceremony, we'd probably award Jodie our 'Worst Dressed in the world although quite probably the universe' award without question. And if she had any sense, she'd readily accept.

Known in all quarters as a 'glamour model', Jodie Marsh started out as a typical Essex schoolgirl (say no more). If you'd noticed that her nose sometimes looks a little bit funny, it's because it was injured as a result of a hockey incident at school. And although you'll be surprised, it's our great pleasure to say that Jodie left school with 11 GCSEs, followed up with 3 A-levels. That's more than us! (In the words of Homer... Doh!)

Although well qualified it seems Jodie was bitten by the bug of naked glamour modelling and decided to pose for several popular newspapers. Her first bite of the television apple was when she featured in a fly-on-the-wall show called Essex Wives.

Luckily for Jodie the noughties brought a boom in cheap, reality TV and she jumped right on the bandwagon. To save you searching the net for all of Jodie's appearances, here's just a selection: Trust Me ? I'm a Holiday Rep (we guess that one saw Jodie pretending to be a rep, blah blah), Back to Reality on Five and It's Me Or The Dog (we presume she wasn't the dog).

Most memorable, though, was her short stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. Pete Burns hated her, Michael Barrymore argued with her and George Galloway tired of her, like us, very quickly. All in all not her best moment, especially when she was voted out in the first eviction.

Jodie continues to appear in scantily clad outfits, poorly viewed MTV shows and at film premiers. Sometimes.
