Jesse Metcalfe - Biography

In a nutshell

Have you heard the phrase 'chest is best'? If you haven't it's because we've just made it up, but our point is that starring in hit drama Desperate Housewives without any clothes on your top half is probably the best move Jesse ever made for his career.

Born in California, Jesse is of French, Italian and Portuguese decent and we probably could have guessed that from his looks. Which are, it's fair to say, very good. Very very good. But enough of the drooling.

Jesse dropped out of his University place to try and live his dream as a writer and director. His first role was in American soap opera Passions, but he ended up quitting it because he didn't think it was going to get him very far. Which is fair enough ? just look at some of the people in soaps who've been there for years and you'll see why he did the right thing...

Next up is his most famous role, as gardener John in Desperate Housewives. Now this wasn't an overly complex role to play, the majority of the time mowing the lawn with your top off. But lets face it, if you've got pecs like that then you'd do the same...

With legions of adoring new fans, Jesse decided to date 'one of ours', Girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle. It looked like everything was going swimmingly until he was pictured with various girls. Who weren't Nadine. Oops.
