Anthony Head - Biography

In a nutshell

Anthony Head has had a pretty startling career. And, like any good actor, has starred in a classic television ad. We hope he's not embarrassed to have been the man shaking his beans alongside Sharon Maughan for Nescafe. Remember that? He was even so good they re-made the advert for an American audience!

Coffee aside, Head started his career in the musical Godspell before transferring his talents to television where he made himself an international star with his role in popular sci-fi show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Staying for six series, he decided to leave the show in order to spend more time with his two daughters, Emily and Daisy.

One of his most notable roles of the last few years is playing the Prime Minister in Little Britain, where he has a 'very willing' civil servant played by David Walliams.

Although you might not know it, Anthony Head has shown his singing voice ain't half bad, either. If you care to spend some time perusing the bargain bins you might come across a couple of CDs - Chris de Burgh's The Getaway and an album called Music for Elevators, both of which feature Anthony Head singing his heart out. Probably.

Always one to give something back, Anthony is a massive supporter of local charities.
