Tony uses drama and the arts to work with socially excluded groups and celebrate their creativity & talents. Further funding would allow him to inspire more hard-to-reach young people, and develop a forum to share their achievements & connect them to the wider community.

Regional Winner

Mark Wilkins

Mark Wilkins - Nominated by: Aly Lazell

Mark gives direction to deprived young people by supporting them to create music.
He would use this grant to set up a web-based radio station with groups of young people at the helm - conducting interviews, creating podcasts and learning the skills of music journalism.


Cornwall Film Festival

Hana Backland - Nominated by: Tifffany Holmes

Hana coordinates the annual Screen Actions film festival, working with marginalised young people. A grant would be used to promote the event and build a festival website where young people can upload their films and express their views.
