Celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants with Nickelodeon

2009 marks the tenth year anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. No, we can't believe he's been around for a decade either! So it only seems fitting that Nickelodeon declared 2009 as the Year of the Sponge. How fantastic! A year-long celebration for SpongeBob and his pals in Bikini Bottom (by the way, we love Patrick too).

The Year of the Sponge culminates in November: there'll be a very very very special SpongeBob episode featuring comedian Ricky Gervais! So, to honour our mighty yellow friend we've made Nickelodeon free in November!
