Eat in the No. 1 Bistro and be tempted with a menu to suit all dietary requirements and a wine list to suit every palate. Using tasty local produce and fish straight from the boats at Scrabster (North of Wick) all meals are beautifully presented and perfect in size. For dessert, don't miss the Banoffee cheesecake knapped with homemade butterscotch sauce. The No.1 Bistro doesn't just boast good food and wine, but also an address on the shortest street in the World! Ebenezer Place measures just 6 foot nine inches and is large enough to house just the entrance to the Bistro only.
After an evening meal in the Bistro, head to the cosy plush bar. It's friendly, well stocked and at the heart of the Wick community. Treat yourself to a wee dram of the local Old Pulteney whisky before heading off to your cosy bedroom for a good nights sleep. Then of course - wake up to a delicious hearty breakfast consisting of local produce cooked to order including locally smoked haddock. You'll certainly be well rested, comfortable and well fed here!
Nice touches:
- Wide screen LCD TV
- Spa bath
- Temperature controlled wall heater (so many hotels determine your room temperature for you! Not here.)
Perfect for:
- Older couples
- Romantic getaway
- Single travellers
- Relaxing break
