We travelled with Crystal Lakes and Mountains which offer excellent value in good quality accommodation and reasonably priced tours should you wish to kick back and have everything organised for you. You don’t have to be over fifty to enjoy a Crystal Lakes and Mountains holiday. I’m in my mid thirties and can’t wait to travel with them again. Evening entertainment is also provided, ideal if you are a solo traveller but want a bit of company. Whether you are happy to be independent on holiday or prefer to have everything taken care of, with Crystal, either is fine.
Hotel Linder

Perfectly situated right by the bus stop, tourist information office and the heart of town the hotel Linder was not so small that it was intense and not too large that it was impersonal. It offered a friendly and professional service that ensured we had a comfortable stay. The nightly five course meal was included in the half board price and consisted of high standard simple regional and traditional dishes accompanied by a good choice of wine and beers. Every morning started with a good hearty breakfast – although get down early, as everything disappears quite quickly. A cute bar with cosy seating was the perfect setting for relaxing with a local beer after a long days hike. It was fascinating to see the many photos that adorned the walls of the area from yesteryear along with local flora.
Our room was small but perfectly formed. We had a dining table, tonnes of storage, the comfiest bed and a delightful balcony with stunning views of the mountains, valley and gondolas. And if you are keen to brush up on your Italian, there’s a flat screen TV transmitting local stations.
