Malmo, Sweden – a day trip from Copenhagen

The Oresund Bridge
Getting there
Hop on a train from central Copenhagen (Denmark) and you’re in Malmo (Sweden) within 35 minutes, no passport necessary. The journey takes you over yet another impressive feat of Scandinavian design and engineering – the 10 mile long Oresund Bridge. Half the journey is over the water, the bridge then descends into the middle of the sea and dives under the water to continue its journey as a tunnel until it hits dry land again.
