Throughout the whole of the newly refurbished hotel, there is an immense feeling of space. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and sea add the feeling of relaxation and tranquillity. Earth colours theme the entirety of the hotel. Browns, dark reds, rich golds and clean pale walls give a feel of consistency with the natural environment beyond the Victorian walls. Although the hotel has gone through a 13 million pound refurbishment, many period features remain conserved. Relax in the reception area with a freshly brewed coffee and a paper, overlooking the dramatic coastal scenery, or retire to the drawing room or library for that feeling of gentrification, yet comfortably home from home.
