Breadcrumbs Trail, York

Where does it go?
Starting in York city centre, this fun walk takes in the major sights, with a twist – you do it after dark, with torches, guided by 228 reflectors sunk into the pavements (the 'breadcrumbs'). You can also buy the kids a special book of stories, York Breadcrumbs, to read en route. It's available at the Visitor and Information Centre (visityork.org) and local bookshops.
What will I see?
York Minster, the Shambles, the Guildhall and more. The stories include Slime and Grime, in which a girl visiting York meets a ghostly Roman Legion.
