Use Windows Live Mail to synchronise contacts

Keeping a calendar and contact list synchronised between two PCs can be a chore. Of course, web-based email services such as Hotmail and Google Mail solve this problem with online scheduling and address books that can be accessed from any computer with a web browser – but these aren’t for everyone. If you don’t like webmail and prefer instead to use a traditional email application such as Outlook Express or Windows Mail, all is not lost. Microsoft’s Windows Live Suite of applications includes an email application that not only improves upon both Outlook Express and Windows Mail, but also adds online synchronisation for contacts and calendars.Here’s how to get started.
