Microsoft Word allows users to type any imaginable accented letters or symbols in documents. However, with so many possibilities – from writing whole documents in a foreign language to simply wanting to use the appropriate accents in some common-usage words – it’s not always obvious how to get a particular character to appear. This is, of course, a combination of software settings and hardware constraints.
