With more accounts and personal details stored online, the need for strong passwords is greater than ever. However, our memories aren’t perfect and it can be hard to keep track of so many pass codes. Many people fall back on tricks such as reusing passwords or noting them down somewhere.Neither is a secure approach, because one compromised account could give a criminal access to all the others. It’s also possible to steal unencrypted information from a PC remotely if its security software isn’t up to scratch. As for writing passwords down, they are only as secure as the piece of paper they’re written on.However, a good password manager program such as Keepass can remove much of the worry. Here’s how to make use of it.
