Speed up a hard disk with Partition Manager

Author: Scott Colvey
Date: 05-02-2010

If your PC has a large hard disk it is a good idea to split the space up into smaller chunks known as partitions. Each partition on the hard disk will then appear as an independent disk with its own letter. However, Windows makes hard disk partitioning trickier than it need be. Really, partitioning is not that daunting and, with good software, it can even be easy.A free tool called Easeus Partition Master takes the strain out of dealing with hard disk divisions and in this Workshop we will explain how to download and use it.Be warned, though, that as with any Workshop that involves working directly with data stored on the hard disk, we recommend that you back up before proceeding, just in case. Click here to visit the Partition Manager download page.
