Apple iTunes may not be the best media player but a lot of people use it. If you want to share your iTunes music collection with another PC over a network, you have a couple of options. The easiest is to use the iTunes’ built-in sharing feature. This lets you browse and listen to music stored on one computer, using iTunes installed on another computer. It is simple to set up but the user on the other computer cannot rate songs or make playlists using your music collection.Sharing manually is more flexible, but more complicated. It gives full access to a library from another computer via iTunes, but since changes can be made to playlists and ratings, this option is best reserved for sharing an iTunes music collection on computers that only you will use. Both options are explained below. Ensure that iTunes is installed on each computer you are using before you start.
