With spyware-protection software installed on your PC, potential infections should be blocked before they can cause any harm. But even if no such software is installed, spyware infections can often be detected.Unwanted changes to browser settings such as a new home page or a different default search engine or an increase in pop-up windows can be indications that something is amiss. Equally important pointers include the appearance of unexpected toolbars in your browser, reduced computer performance or general system instability.In this Workshop we’ll show you how to use an anti-spyware tool to check for and remove infections and return your PC to its original, clean condition. The software will also help protect against future infections.
