Many people use Google Maps to create maps that highlight a number of addresses or landmarks. However, the process is labour-intensive and therefore time-consuming.A program called Batchgeo helps get the job done easily and quickly. It does this by working from a prepared list of addresses stored in a spreadsheet. So, rather than manually plotting points on a Google Map, just write out the addresses and let Batchgeo do all the work. There is nothing to install as Batchgeo is accessed online. In this Workshop we will show how Batchgeo can be used to plot the addresses of club members on a map.In order to plot addresses onto a Google Map using Batchgeo, the address information first needs to be entered into a spreadsheet. A suitable template is available for download from the Batchgeo’s website, so pay a visit and follow the steps below.Baffled by jargon? See our free online Jargon Buster.
