Create photo slideshows using Picasa

Author: Computeractive Staff
Date: 17-03-2010

It’s surprisingly difficult to find a way to create photographic slideshows with captions that will work on an ordinary DVD player particularly if you are reluctant to pay for a suitable tool.Plenty of programs do some of the job, such as creating ‘gift CDs’, DVDs that only play back on a PC, or that will work on a DVD player but won’t include proper captions; this makes it frustrating for viewers watching slideshows when they don’t know where the pictures were taken or who’s who in the photos. This Workshop explains how to get round this using two free programs that may already be familiar Google Picasa and DVD Flick. Knowing those programs is a small advantage, but everything necessary to complete the Workshop is included here. Click here to open the Picasa website. Find DVD Flick here. If you need a refresher on Picasa take a look at our Workshop
