New campaign urges users to switch to Dynamics
Microsoft has launched a new campaign aimed at bringing users to its Dynamics hosted CRM service.
The updated version of the Dynamics CRM Online service will sport a number of new features as well as a new effort to win customers over from competing firms.
Amongst the features in the updated version of Dynamics CRM will be faster performance as well as improved sales monitoring tools and a lower subscription price. Other new features include a new contact management service and support for Microsoft Outlook and mobile devices.
"The new service update to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online demonstrates our commitment to simplify the customer experience, deliver rapid innovation and offer more value at a lower price," said Brad Wilson, Microsoft general manager for Dynamics CRM.
In addition to the update, Microsoft is pushing a new migration tool to help lure customers away from other online CRM vendors. The new campaign will offer users six months free when they switch to Dynamics CRM from the competing Oracle and Salesforce.com CRM services.
The company hopes that the update and accompanying campaign will help boost its position in what is becoming an increasingly competitive market amongst online CRM vendors.
