mobile-phones.co.uk expert Thomas Newton offers a round-up of sporty phones and applications that will get you fit enough to give Paula Radcliffe a run for her money.
The W910i has new features that enhance its exercise-helping capabilities, building on the pedometer and high quality mp3 that made the Walkman Series such a success as a fitness device.
One of the W910is new features is support for Bluetooth stereo, meaning that headphones will not need troublesome wires destined to disrupt your run.
Also new is software that allows the phone to keep a record of previous workouts, as with the MiCoach however, with the W910i there is no real way to upload this data to a website for data comparisons.
Another nifty aid to your run is the Shake feature, which allows you to change music tracks just by shaking the phone if you are going for a particularly vigorous run you can turn this off so you dont end up changing tracks by accident every three seconds
Verdict:
While it doesnt have the fitness features of the MiCoach, the W910i will be an easily capable fitness device for all but the most serious of runners. The music player is top notch, it is a cool looking phone, and it will give you good, accurate information about your run.
