Newcastle United and England player Joey Barton was in trouble again earlier this month after his conduct earned him a two week suspension from his club after his tackle on Liverpool's Alonso got him a three-match ban.

Barton served 77 days of a six month sentence for assault outside a branch of McDonalds in 2008.

Later that year he was given a four month suspended sentence for an assault on former teammate Ousmane Dabo.
