Owner: Peter Coates.
Peter Coates is a Stoke man and self-made millionaire who made his fortune in catering and betting.
This is his second period in charge of Stoke. He stepped down in 1997 following a poor season and protests by fans and sold out to an Icelandic consortium.
He bought the club back in 2006 and just two years later, the club were in the Premier League for the first time in their history. Coates has paid off many of the club debts and continues to invest.
