Wild Strawberry

Height up to 30cm

Low perennial with long, rooting runners. Common and widespread on dry, grassy ground. Leaves comprise three oval leaflets, with undersides hairy. 5-petalled white flowers appear April­July and are 12­18mm across. Fruits are tiny strawberries.
