Meadow Thistle

Height up to 75cm

Perennial of damp meadows. Locally common in S and C England, Wales and Ireland. Stem is unwinged, downy and ridged. Oval, toothed leaves are green and hairy above and white cottony below. Flower heads, 20­25mm across, appear June­July.
