Height up to 45cm

Attractive perennial of grassy meadows; local and commonest in E England. Leaves are kidney-shaped with blunt teeth; bulbils produced at leaf bases in autumn. Sprays of white, 5-petalled flowers appear April­June and are 20­30mm across.
