Carnivorous perennial of bogs and damp flushes; rosette of yellow-green, sticky leaves can trap and digest insects. Widespread and fairly common in Ireland and NW Britain; scarce elsewhere. Violet, spurred flowers, 10­15mm long, seen May­August.
