London tube derails

11/05/2004 13:31

LONDON (Reuters) - A London underground train has gone off its rails at White City tube station, but nobody has been hurt, transport police say.

"We were informed that at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday there had been a derailment. No injuries. The front part of the carriage has hopped off the rails as it entered the station," a spokesman said. White City is on the Central Line, where service was interrupted for weeks by a derailment last year.
