Search: Duke Edinburgh Prince Philip birthday cards
Well-wishers have sent almost 2,000 cards to mark the Duke of Edinburgh's birthday.
Correspondence of all shapes and sizes and from right across the globe has been delivered to Buckingham Palace in time for the milestone.
Philip will read a selection of the hundreds of cards that have been sent by the public to honour his 90th year and all of those from family and friends, the royal household and estates, Army regiments he is associated with and his many charities.
Online messages have also been posted for the Duke, with around 1,500 left by supporters.
Staff in Philip's private office have been sorting through the cards and have sent written replies to every piece of correspondence they have received that comes with an address.
Well-wishers from Commonwealth countries such as New Zealand and Australia have posted cards but others from nations including Italy, Poland, France, Germany and Holland have also put pen to paper.
Ships and yachts are featured on the covers of many of the birthday greetings to celebrate the Duke's links to the Royal Navy, as he is a former naval officer.

Cards have been arriving since January from members of the public, who written simple notes of support inside or described how they met the Duke or served with him during his time in the Navy.
Cross-stitching has been used to make some, including a picture - depicting one of Philip's favourite sports - of a cricketer at the crease, with the words "90 not out, how's that".
Two children even sent in a CD with their card - a recording of them singing happy birthday in both English and Welsh.
