A young man has been shot dead outside a block of flats.
The victim - thought to be in his late teens - died at the scene after being gunned down near Purser House in Tulse Hill, south London, on Monday night.
Four shots were fired before a car was heard speeding away, witnesses have told police.
Detectives leading the investigation are trying to establish if the incident was a gangland hit and have launched a hunt for the gunman.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended and found a male, aged approximately late teens or early 20s, suffering suspected gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin are being informed.
"Inquiries by Lambeth officers into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing and detectives from Trident have been informed."
The death is the third killing in south London within the last fortnight.
Alper Pasha, 43, from Bermondsey, died in hospital after being attacked outside a KFC fast food outlet in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, and Sadiq Adebiyi, 25, was shot dead outside the Stockwell Gardens estate.
The victim is thought be the seventh teenager killed in the capital this year.
