Search: Ant McPartlin punched pub
Television presenter Ant McPartlin has been punched during "a scuffle" while watching a football match in a pub.
The Britain's Got Talent presenter was in the Barley Mow pub in Chiswick, west London, watching Arsenal play Barcelona in the Champions League when he was attacked on Tuesday.
Giedrius Kudzinskas told The Sun that McPartlin's attacker shouted "Where's your girlfriend?", believed to be a reference to his on-screen partner Declan Donnelly.
He said: "Ant didn't react and this bloke launched himself at him and punched him in the face."
A spokesman for McPartlin, who is originally from Newcastle, said: "There was a scuffle but Ant isn't taking the matter any further."
McPartlin and Donnelly rose to fame on the BBC children's show Byker Grove before going on to star in hit shows including Britain's Got Talent, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
