Search: Charmin wins Crufts
A Sealyham Terrier has won the Crufts crown, ending months of controversy for the world famous dog show.
The dog, whose pet name is Charmin, beat off competition from six other dogs to win the Best In Show title.
A standard poodle called Donny took the reserve prize in the show at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
Thousands attended the four day event despite it losing a high profile sponsor, support from animal charities and its regular BBC coverage following a damning documentary into breeding practices.
The owner of four-year-old Charmin, Margery Good from Pennsylvania USA, said she was very excited to have won Crufts.
She said: "I'm feeling very excited and very pleased.
"It's been a very exciting evening."
Speaking about Charmin, she said: "He's such a special dog. He is my best buddy. He proved himself tonight and made every step just right."
