Sophie and Siavash are fighting it out for the Big Brother crown after David, Charlie and Rodrigo were voted in third, fourth and fifth places respectively in the grand finale. The five finalists were sat waiting patiently in the living room from early evening to hear the results of what they had waited all summer for.

Davina kicked off proceedings at 8.30pm wearing glam sequinned leggings and a metallic blazer with giant quaffed hair as she rounded up the best bits of the last three months.

The hostess introduced montages of every finalist's memorable moments from the summer before viewers watched highlights from the last 24 hours in the house.

And after a brief roundup, Davina introduced all of the former HMs from this year to a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd.

The hostess then went live to the house to announce who had been voted in fifth place.

All the remaining contestants looked both nervous and excited, but cheered and shouted as Davina came over the tannoy to tell them the results of the first vote count of the night.

They all held hands on the living room sofa as Davina announced that Rodrigo had finished in fifth place.

The Brazilian, clad in a red shirt and white trousers, hugged everybody before making his way through the garden and out of the house to massive cheers.

He waved to the crowd and beamed with joy as Davina embraced him on the podium, telling him to be careful not to fall over as he shook hands with adoring fans.

"Thank you, thank you," he told them, as he was met with unanimous cheers of support.

After a short break, Davina kicked off the interview with Rodrigo, who admitted he didn't mind coming fifth - because he had reached the last day.

"It means so much!" he cried.

As a montage analysed by a psychologist was played, the 23 year old was seen both weeping and laughing over various clips of his time in the house. He told Davina, "Thank you, thank you so much!"

Rodrigo blushed as the hostess brought up his and Charlie's flirtatious relationship in the house - and questioned whether he was in love with the camp Geordie.

He declared, "We are just friends. We love each other, we hate each other... The thing is we have similar personalities."

Rodrigo smiled and wept as the hostess played a video from his family back home in Brazil, who spoke to him in his native tongue.

Davina wrapped up the interview, declaring him an "exemplary and fantastic housemate" before showing him his best bits from the last 93 days.

With Rodrigo out, it was time to announce who had finished in fourth place.

Davina crossed live to the house to an excited Charlie, David, Siavash and Sophie, who all looked completely overwhelmed.

And it was Charlie who left the house next.

He hugged David, Siavash and Sophie as he made his way out to Davina, clad in a stylish checked shirt and skinny jeans.

The camp Geordie blew kisses to the crowd and jumped up and down, squealing with excitement before handing Davina a red rose.

He looked stunned as he posed for press photos and made his way to the podium for his post-eviction interview.

A favourite to win from the beginning, Davina asked if he was shocked to only land fourth place.

"I've already won though, I've been on the show. I thought I was going to go in week five!" the cheeky chappy beamed.

Davina then probed into his relationship with fifth-placed Rodrigo.

"We're just friends," he said, backing up what the Brazilian had earlier said. "He's just a mate!"

Charlie's eyes welled up as Davina mentioned his ill mum, who suffered an aneurysm a few years ago but whose health has improved since her son went in the house.

He told the presenter, "My mum knew I wanted to do this. Since I've been in they've seen changes in her. She's getting stronger and I know she's so proud and I know it's because of this experience."

Charlie looked delighted as his best bits were then played to the Girls Aloud song The Promise, and even began dancing and singing as he saw all his funny moments from the last 14 weeks.

He tipped Sophie to win as she is "so lovely" before Davina sent him to sit with the rest of the evicted HMs.

Davina then went back over to the house to announce the third placed HM - David!

As he dabbed tears from his eyes, Davina told him he would have to wait half an hour for his interview.

Sophie and Siavash looked shell-shocked to be in the final two, with the kooky stylist telling the model, "You're going to win!"

There's still time folks - get voting!
