ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN - Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf inspects the honour of guard during the farewell ceremony at the presidency on August 18, 2008 in Islamabad, Pakistan. Musharraf resigned on August 18, bringing down the curtain on a turbulent nine years in power to avoid the first impeachment in the nuclear-armed nation's history.
