Tony Blair Makes Statement On Northern Ireland
LONDON - Prime Minister Tony Blair responds to today's report from the Independent Monitoring Commission on paramilitary activity in Northern Ireland on October 4, 2006 in London. The IMC report says that the IRA has radically changed and that some of its most important structures have been dismantled. The government hopes that this report by the IMC will go some way to help restore devolved government in Northern Ireland before the November 24, 2006 deadline.
